Zachary's setting of Gabriel's Message has been included in "Christmas Daybreak," a compilation of new Christmas music and poetry distributed by Public Radio International. The piece is expertly performed by Philadelphia-based chamber choir The Crossing, the Choir of St. Paul's Church, Chestnut Hill, and organist Scott Dettra.

Zachary has been named a winner in the King James Bible Composition Awards for his work, Out of the South Cometh the Whirlwind. The competition, organized by the King James Bible Trust and made possible by the generous support of the Dean and Chapter of Westminster Abbey, was held in honor of the 400th anniversary of the KJV. In celebration of President's Day, Zachary was commissioned by Judith Clurman to set a short sentence by President Clinton to music. The resulting Ode, has been included in the "Mr President" cycle, currently featured on NPR's Classical Music Blog. The piece has also been broadcast on Performance Today.


E.C. Schirmer Publishing has just released Zachary's 2009 song cycle for soprano and piano, Pictures of the Floating World. The cycle features six settings of poems by the American poet Amy Lowell.

Zachary has been named a finalist in the King James Bible Composition Awards for his composition, Out of the South Cometh the Whirlwind. These awards celebrate the 400th anniversary of the King James Version. The four finalists' pieces will be premiered in the Temple Church, London, on May 17, and Bob Chilcott and James Macmillan will be present to announce the winners. The event will be hosted by Katie Derham.


PRB Productions has published Zachary's Suite for Viol Consort, The Muses, in their Contemporary Consort Series. They will also publish the original version for Violin, Viola da Gamba, and Harpsichord.
