The Chronos Vocal Ensemble, led by Jordan Van Biert, will open its 2026-2027 Season with Along the Way, inspired by the choir’s recent West Coast tour, experiences at the Podium festival, and relationships with Canadian composers and ensembles. This program features new-to-Chronos compositions by Zachary Wadsworth (his Come to the Road), Nicholas Ryan Kelly, Gerda Blok-Wilson, Andrew Balfour, Sheldon Rose, and many more. 

The concert audience will experience the first Edmonton performances of several new pieces, including ones by Stuart Beatch and Stephanie Martin, and a premiere of Leonard Enns’s These Fleeting Moments. Plus favourites by Rémi St-Jacques, Stephen Paulus, and more.
