During a concert at the Staunton Music Festival entitled Brave Gay New World, festival musicians will perform two of Zachary’s orchestrations: Wainright’s “Cigarettes & Chocolate Milk,” and Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite.” The concert will also include music by Copland, Higdon, Barber, Wuorinen, Coward, Britten, Porter, and Bernstein.
