During a concert entitled Flower Power, musicians of the Staunton Music Festival will perform two of Zachary’s orchestrations: the “Presentation of the Rose” from Strauss’s opera Der Rosenkavalier, and the classic Porter song “Old-Fashioned Garden.” The concert will also include music by Cage, Sierra, Seeger, Schumann, Schubert, Hildegard, and Reid.
