Rave review of "Song of the Phosphor Lights"

Writing for the Calgary Herald, Kenneth DeLong raved about the Spiritus Chamber Choir's premiere performance of Zachary's Song of the Phosphor Lights:

The first half included a new composition by local composer Zachary Wadsworth, whose recently performed cantata, “The Far West,” was the talk of the choral community a few months ago. This new work, entitled “Song of the Phosphor Lights,” is more modest in scope, but it contains those qualities of imagination, harmonic refinement, and understanding of the choral medium that made the previous work such a hit. Basses Aaron Bartholomew and Jamie Bertram were vocally accomplished in their solo spots. The incorporation of the well-known “In the Bleak Mid-Winter” served to emotionally ground the work for a Canadian audience.
