The Yale Schola Cantorum has just released two new CDs. One, Souvenirs de la France Profonde, features a recording of Zachary's Beati Quorum Remissae. The other features a beautiful recording of Bach's St. John Passion (1725 version).

Zachary wins the Pacific Chorale's Young Composer Competition

Zachary has been named a winner of the Pacific Chorale's 2007 Young Composer Competition. As a winner, he will take part in the Pacific Chorale's American Masterpieces Choral Festival, along with Morten Lauridsen, Alice Parker, and Eric Whitacre. His winning composition, Fantasy on a Theme by William Billings, will be performed during the festival.

Zachary awarded first prize by the Boston Choral Ensemble

Zachary has been awarded 1st prize in the 1st annual Boston Choral Ensemble Commission Competition. This award results in a commission for a brand-new choral work based on text by Walt Whitman, entitled Look down, fair moon.
