Zachary is thrilled to have been named a 2012-13 Fellow of the Douglas Moore Fund for American Opera. This fellowship will place Zachary in residence at six American opera companies over the course of the coming year: the Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Minnesota Opera, New York City Opera, Seattle Opera, and Center City Opera Theater.

As a new Calgarian adjusting to the highs and lows of the city's climate, Wadsworth was inspired by several verses in the Book of Job which reflect violent swings in nature. The result was the composition "Out of the South Cometh the Whirlwind."
