CBC Music has made a recording of Zachary’s When There Is Peace available on their website. This premiere performance includes Chor Leoni (directed by Erick Lichte), the Borealis String Quartet, soprano Arwen Myers, tenor Lawrence Wiliford, and percussionists Martin Fisk and Robin Reid. The Chronos Vocal Ensemble, led by Jordan Van Biert, have just released FRESH, an album of new choral music by Canadian composers. The album includes Zachary's Three Lacquer Prints, along with music by Andrew Balfour, Nicholas Ryan Kelly, Matthew Emery, David Archer, Guillaume Boulay, Tawnie Olson, Peter-Anthony Togni, Alex Eddington, Kathleen Allan, Stuart Beatch, and Jocelyn Morlock.

Zachary has been named the first composer-in-residence with Chor Leoni Men's Choir in Vancouver. His first project in this role will be a concert-length oratorio called When There is Peace (with a libretto by Peter Rothstein and Erick Lichte) for premiere in November 2018 with tenor Lawrence Wiliford, soprano Arwen Myers, and the Borealis String Quartet. Later in this two-year residency, Wadsworth will compose works for Chor Leoni’s holiday program as well as the VanMan Male Choral Summit.
Chor Leoni's Artistic Director Erick Lichte writes: “We are thrilled to begin a lasting artistic relationship with Zachary Wadsworth for the next two seasons. We are excited that this relationship will also extend to our loyal audience. Creating and presenting new works is a passion for Chor Leoni, and we could not be more proud than to begin this residency with Zachary.”
